Examinations are very important to assess one’s knowledge and to see where one stands among its peers. And one of the major examinations in student’s life is the board examinations for which everyone waits eagerly. In order for a great professional future, these examinations act as a stepping stone. They not only test our merit but also the successful accomplishment of one’s study level. The marks scored by the students decide their career path. If a student is appearing for class 10th board exams, then his scored marks will help him to choose stream to pursue from class 11th onwards. Opting from science, commerce or arts is entirely based on the marks scored in class 10th, regardless of the self-chosen stream. Similarly, we can see that scored being obtained in class 12th decided one’s future to get the college of his choice and that too in his interested field. Tip #1: Have a well-planned scheduled before starting study – You should know your weak areas as well as strong areas before starting studying and accordingly a planned schedule for it. How you know how much time you need to devote to your weak areas to overcome them and the time being devoted to your strong areas just for revision purpose.

Tip #2: Keep handy notes –Yes, small notes having important formulas or even the tricks, etc are actually very helpful in revising your course. Keep them always with you in your pockets so that whenever you get any spare time, you could just open them up and revise.

Tip #3: Try to study in groups – Group study is also very effective in understanding the concepts better. In a group, there are students of all types of thinking levels. Sometimes, a student thinks that he has understood the concepts better but a question from his peer make him ponder over this fact again. Share your notes with your group mates, some points from others will add extra knowledge to your existing domain of knowledge.

Tip #4: Don’t memorize the concepts, understand the logic behind them – Yes, do not try to learn or memorize the concepts, it will do no good to you. Try to understand the logic hidden in them, the reasons behind them. This will help you to expand thinking horizons of your mind.
